Apple today announced iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in brand new Red color which was rumored and awaited since last few months. Apple iPhone 7 Red color is expected to be the new game changer up to some extent with their competitors.
Apple has today listed a PRODUCT(RED) variant of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on their online store. The Cupertino giant tech company and non-profit organization (RED) have been working together to release this special edition products for the past 10 years, but this is the first time an iPhone has been brought into the market in PRODUCT(RED) variant.
Here is what Apple’s CEO Tim Cook says:
“Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS. through the purchase of our products, from the original iPod nano (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition all the way to today’s lineup of Beats products and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch,” stated by Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO.
Same look to the regular iPhone models:
The Apple iPhone 7 Red and iPhone 7 Plus (Product)RED Special Editions both will be available to purchase in 128GB and 256GB models, with pricing starting at $749. However pre-orders starting online worldwide and in stores on Friday, March 24. It is also worth mentioning that with regards to specifications, these variants are identical to the regular iPhone 7 models.
The iPad is also announced:
As also expected, Apple has today also refreshed its iPad series. Apple has revealed that it dropped the 9.7-inch iPad Air 2 in favor of a new device simply called the iPad. While it may seem pretty familiar on the outside, the slate has seen a couple of much-needed upgrades on the inside.
The new iPad now packs Apple’s powerful A9 processor instead of the old A8X chip found on the iPad Air 2. Which was initially launched in the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. The brightness of its display has also been improved, though it still sports a resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels. More full detailed specs to be revealed by Apple later.
